If you've been around The Scrapbook Room lately, you may have seen that I've been a bit lazy. Product was still in my handy dandy vintage suitcases since the last crop. Being tempted to purchase anything was–well, not tempting. But all that has changed! Yes. My dear scrapbookers. Temptation is back. I've done a bit of rearranging and put everything out on display for you to see. Many of the regular scrapbookers have hit a bit of a lull it seems but I'm here to reinspire. What better way to get inspired than with a sale?
That's right. Stop in to the shop (or contact me and I'll meet you there) any time from now until the end of July to take advantage of the sale. I've also got a bunch of patterned papers that were damaged a bit from a leaky roof on sale for super cheap. If you're cutting up your papers, they might work okay for you! And also, be sure to let me know what you'd like to do. To see. To buy. What are you working on? What size of books? What style? What products do you like? What's your favourite adhesive. Do tell. I will draw a random name from all of those who comment on the actual blog post for a special scrapbook related prize. (If you read this on Facebook, be sure to click your way directly to the full article on the blog and post your comment there!) Until then, here's a few photos of the rearranged shop to help get you inspired–or maybe even to see if you can spot anything to buy!
There's a little bit of everything here and I always say if you think you want it, buy it now because much of my product is a one time thing!
Speaking of one of a kind product, my vintage collection is great for those who like to add a bit of vintage to their pages and cards! Again, a very eclectic collection of goods in this section! Everything from old maps, buttons, lace and ribbon to vintage greeting cards and other ephemera.
Here's a little view of one corner! See anything good?
Maybe a closeup shot helps. How about some grad paper or stickers? Or Christmas papers?
A few select stickers for special occasions and events. If you're in need of a specific event or subject, let me know. I specialize in custom orders! If it's available, I can usually get it!
A tiny wall of very new items. See anything you like?
Ah…adhesives and tools. My favourite adhesive? Scor-tape without a doubt! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I use it in place of tabs and it's super fantastic for making mini books–which I also love to do! What's your favourite adhesive?
I'm also a big Timmy fan (Tim Holtz–not Tim Horton–wait, I'm actually a fan of both!)
And I love to ink and paint and generally mess around with things I make. Inking and painting means I don't have to be neat and careful and straight. I can say, "I meant to make it like that!" and even mistakes are okay then. And we all make mistakes! Right?
Another hot item! File folders. I amassed quite a collection of file folders. So many in fact that I decided to put some for sale. File folder albums are very fun and they're an easy way to assemble a small group of photos. I'd be happy to share tips on how to do it. (I'll try to get a demo uploaded here very soon!)
Here's a few shots of that new wall.(Click on it to see it bigger!) The flowers are from Prima. You gotta love Prima and these are priced right! Also, those paintables are amazing. I had several packs at Spring Crop and sold out! I'll try to get a demo of those up soon too.
And here's a final couple of shots…of a variety of items. As I said, an eclectic mix of products. If you don't see what you want, let me know. I'm always open to suggestions on what to order.
And I know it's summer and you're busy and all, but do try to plan ahead and think a little bit about scrapping. I promise I will too!
PS Don't forget to comment!
Looks awesome Pauline!
You always do such a good job of making everything look so nice and organized…I’ll be in later today and check things out
