I just came across this sketch in one of my notebooks.

I don't know where it's from or how long it's been there but I think I still like it.

What do you think?

I think I'll send out a challenge. Let's all do a scrapbook page based on the following sketch:

Sketch

Remember; in using a sketch, you don't have to follow it exactly. Turn it sideways. Turn it upside down. Instead of one big centre photo use four photos. How about those circles at the top? Use buttons. Use pattern paper. Use letter stickers. Doodle. Those side pieces? Ribbon? Doodling? Strips of text? Pieces of pattern paper? Put a title in a spot for one of those smaller photos. Put the title and journalling in the big photo spot!

See? The sky's the limit. You can do anything. Scrap some photos from Christmas. Start a monthly page for 2012. Make a page with blank spots ready to add the photos later. (Hurry down to Main Street Pharmacy or YOUR nearest store and print out a few photos!)

The challenge is on. Email me a photo of your page and I'll enter your name to win a prize. All entries should be in by—hmmm, let's all stop procrastinating—how about by Sunday, January 15th? Start now. Find the photos. Tomorrow find the papers. Wednesday, start cutting photo mats and start your layout. Thursday, add the journalling. Friday, finishing touches. See? Just like that–taking just a few minutes a day–you have a page done.

Now go. Get scrapping!

And have a great Monday!
