Hello scrapbookers:

Can you believe it's December already?
I bet you're busy so I'll get right to the three points of this email.

1. Christmas Shopping
I will be doing ONE order this weekend and that will be it for this year. Please get your lists to me OR have your "Santas" get in touch if there's something you want. A cute little album is the perfect gift for kids, brides-to-be, grandmas…..for anyone! I can order almost anything, particularly if it's from a popular scrapbook company.

2. January Pajama Crop
Friday, January 15 to Sunday, January 17, 2016
at the IOOF Hall in Thessalon.

Total cost for this crop is $60.00 for the weekend. (No day croppers at this point.) $25.00 deposit holds your spot and MUST be paid before the crop to hold your seat.

(I prep food, arrange seating, and even order supplies etc. according to numbers attending so I need an accurate count approx. a week before the event.)

The PJ Crop is a favourite as it's the perfect opportunity to come (in your comfy new PJs you got for Christmas –or your worn out but oh so comfy old ones!) and get all those Christmas photos scrapbooked.

For out-of-towners, there are some lodging options…including a B&B, a Bed-and-bring-your-own-breakfast, and Carolyn Beach Motel (lovely new owners who aim to please–and I believe rate is approximately $90 for 2 and $100 for up to 4 in a room but don't quote me on that. I can get rates if required).

The Scrapbook Room Gift Certificates are available so throw a hint that crop registration could be a great gift!

3. The Scrapbook Room Christmas Party
(Apologies to out-of-towners who likely can't attend)

Fellow scrapbooker Sonja Bailey has graciously offered to host this year's party in her new home on Government Road. ( I will confirm the address so please get in touch with me if you're interested in attending.)

Party Date is Monday, December 14.

As in the past, we will have a "finger-food/appetizer" pot-luck. Start time is 6 pm.

The ladies elected to NOT have a gift exchange so no gifts please.

However, The Scrapbook Room may have a little something up "her" sleeve to take the place of the gift exchange game.

By the way, the cards shown throughout this posting are stamped birds from the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds line.

I'll be doing these three cards in a class at Thessalon Library Monday, December 7 (at  either 1:30 pm or 7 pm, depending on biggest demand). Register by calling the library at 705-842-2306. (They're open 1-5 and 7-9 today and tomorrow!)

That's all. Please email or call me with any questions.
I look forward to hearing from you and to seeing you at crops in 2016.

Merry Christmas.
from Pauline
