Thoughts on 2012:

I looked back to January 2011 to see what I had posted on my blog. I knew it would have been something inspiring and upbeat about what all I was going to do in the new year.

I was inspired by seeing my daughter scrapbooking in my space. I was inspired by all the ephemera I got for Christmas (and still haven’t used a lot of!), I was excited to complete a little album for a special wee girl (and I did!) and I was determined to clean up the mess in my scrapbook room (which I did but it’s back bigger than ever!). Oh, and I did promise to inspire you to use up some of your stashes with some special little projects and I think I did through some of the fun little mini books I shared with many of you through the year. And I remodeled The Scrapbook Room. Do come in for a look if you haven’t yet.

Sbr mess 2 2012
(Here's part of my at home mess in 2012!)

Ah, it was all good and guess what? I’m back to do it again. Not the mess. Just the fun with scrapbooking.

Here’s my 12 thoughts for The Scrapbook Room in 2012.

            1) I WILL try really hard to update at least weekly. Look for updates at least on Mondays.

            2) I WILL have a January PJ Crop. I am looking at January 21 and 22 so do let me know if that  works for you. As in the past, $25 and a potluck dish. My apologies to those who can’t attend that weekend but it appears it’s the one that  will work best for me.

            3) I WILL have a February Sweetheart Crop—maybe even a 12 hour Saturday one!

            4) I WILL have the annual Spring Crop in April.

            5) I WILL have at least one day crop at either the Catholic Church basement or another good  space nearby.

            6) I WILL get some fun mini book classes/mini book page attachment ideas together.

            7) I WILL do at least ONE beginner’s class.

            8) I WILL go back to Wednesday night scrapbooking. Would anyone prefer Tuesdays? Or  Sundays? I’m thinking just twice a month though.

            9) I WILL get some Monday morning crops going again.

            10) I WILL have some Friday Night Pizza Crops again!

            11) I WILL use up my ephemera! Fill my smash book. Do some scrapbook pages.Organize   my photos. Organize my stash. Get back to enjoying this fun, fun craft!

Please watch this space, follow me on Facebook, watch your email for a calendar and join me whenever you can!

            12) Oh and I WILL give away a little goodie to someone (in a random draw if more than one   respond) who comments on this post in the comment section   below!)

  6. Hi Pauline: Happy New Year. Cannot be at the January PJ crop but a one day sounds good and especially the Spring crop again. That one I really enjoy. Not sure about short crops, have a pretty busy schedule right now with my Mom so time will tell. I need to scrap every day to get half way caught up, just wish I had the time.
