Day 9! We are already 3/4 of the way through our 12 (scrapbooking) days of Christmas!

But that’s okay. When all is said and done, 2018 will be close behind. And you know what that means?

We’ll have another whole year to get at our projects with all of our favourite things!

Do you ever set scrapbooking goals? Be sure and let me know when you write your comment. You do know about why you should leave comments, right? I’ll be drawing a winner from all of the commenters from EVERY day of my 12 favourite scrapbook things so be sure to get your entries in. Comment EVERY day and you’ll have 12 entries!

If you’ve missed entries, you can go back through my posts on Facebook or go on over to my (very much a work-in-progress) website and start by reading Day 1 of my favourite things.

Day 9: Uni-ball Signo Um-153 Pens

These ARE great pens and while I haven’t personally used all the colours, I can certainly swear the  white pens are without a doubt THE BEST WHITE PENS around!

I have used black and it works equally well but I’m suddenly wondering; why DON’T I use the other colours?

For now, let’s just talk about the white gel pens. I’ve seen reviews for other white pens and tried them but no dice. They do not hold a candle to these ones.

I do need to warn you, you may see Uni-ball Signo pens in stores but beware; if the writing is not in Chinese, they are not the really good pens!

What makes them so great?

And finally, most of the time we can troubleshoot a pen that isn’t working well. If you find your pen isn’t working right or is skipping, check the nib. Sometimes a bit of ink congeals and makes a seal. Simply scrape it off and voila, your pen should be working great again.

I find you’ll often have to remove that ball of dried ink when you first go to use a new pen as well.

If you’re looking for a pen that works really well for your scrapbook and art projects, get these uniball Signos.

I try to keep a little stock of the white pens but don’t always carry all the other colours so if you are interested, be sure to let me know so that I can order them. Pens retail for $5.00 each.

What’s your favourite writing tool? Do you write by hand in your scrapbooks? And have you used these Uniball Signo gel pens? Let me know in the comments!
