I just can’t stop posting my favourite things! And today, it’s word stickers.
As a writer, words are important to me. I believe every page should have some writing on it even if it’s the five “w”s (who, what, where, why and when). How many times have you looked at an older photo and either don’t know who’s in it or can’t remember why you took it?
WORDS help!
This first sheet has some pretty big words. That’s big as in size, not as in complicated. But the size of these stickers means they could even be used for a title on a page.
But more than those, it’s these tiny fragments that I like. These first ones are called “Little Bits”. Take a look at all the words you can use to describe a page or share your thoughts.
Easy peasy journaling!
You can find these word sticker sheets in a variety of themes, so whether you’re working on a wedding, Christmas or some other occasion or theme, you’ll have the perfect words to complete your page. And I did mention, words COMPLETE your page, right?
Seriously, whether you struggle with journalling, hate your handwriting or don’t have a computer to print out your journalling, these handy sheets could be the perfect solution for you.
You can see where I’ve added a couple of words to the above page in a mini book I made. They don’t really say much. The words I used are simply sentiments but I like how the white cardstock brightens the page a bit.
I love having a little stash of these “words” nearby when I’m scrapbooking.
Sometimes I need a little something to “embellish” the page a bit more. Sometimes I’m looking for something simple to say about a photo or event. Sometimes I’m looking for several words to create my journalling. And sometimes I like to mix it up; my own handwriting in with some word stickers.
Again, the words are simply sentiments and they add a little touch to the page.
These little stickers are perfect filler when you have a page that you feel needs just a bit more but you don’t have anything you want to add to it.
And how about these rubons from Tim Holtz?
I love that these rub-ons come in different fonts. How cute is that? Seriously. I really do consider words to be one of my favourite things! Even when they’re stickers!
What do you think? Do you use “Little Bits”? Do you like using “words” on your pages? How important is journalling to you?
