Whatu can you do with scrapbook paper?
Of course, many of us want to scrapbook with it.
Personally, I have this little addiction for hand-made mini albums and books. I don't even fill them with photos half the time. I simply make them.
I've also used paper to make cards and invites, to decorate at special events, and to make place cards at special events.
But I have to say one of my favourite things to do with scrapbook paper is what Melissa (of Pileria's Interiors) did! Check it out….
Melissa purchased a package of Pink Paislee's Nantucket Crab Cakes paper and made these cute little pinwheels. This was all part of a carnival themed baby shower. Doesn't that sound like fun?
I love the galvanized metal pail filled with peanuts, coke and of course, the pinwheels in various sizes.
You can find pinwheel patterns online if you don't know how to make them but I say take this idea and run with it for any occasion whether it's a shower, birthday party or just a fun day!
Thanks so much for sharing, Melissa. (Be sure to check out Melissa's blog at http://www.pileriasblog.com/ where she shares many of her fantastic home decorating tips and store products!)
And please…tell me what YOU have made with scrapbook paper lately!
